With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Catherine (Plainview) Schoppa (Tulia, Texas), born in Vernon, Texas, who passed away on January 13, 2022 at the age of 102. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest B. Schur and Minnie Kischnick Schur. She is survived by : her husband Wilbert Karl Schoppa; her daughter Brenda (Jay Lowry); her granddaughters, Heather (Patrick) and Shannon (Bill); her great grandchildren, Sabine, Xabi and Ethan; and her nephew Reverend Steven Schur. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorials be sent to UPBRING, a Lutheran services organization that addresses the needs of children in Texas.
