He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Frederick and Molly Imogene Simmons Sarchet; and his siblings, Thomas, Harold, Robert, Edith Cruce and Elizabeth Sue Skelton.
He is survived by: his spouse LaNelle Smith; his children, Donald Ray Sarchet (Tinker) of Lubbock, Kim Sarchet (Kathie) of Amarillo, Kerry Sarchet (Carrie) of Anton and Karmyn Seaberg (Bill) of Amarillo; his brothers, Jerry Sarchet (Elta) of Lubbock and Charles Sarchet of San Antonio; Darrell and Nettie Smith. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
