He was predeceased by: his parents, Guillermo and Rita Carbajal, Sr. (Lopez); his wife Irma Carbajal; his daughter Christy Carbajal Cruz; and his siblings, Rosalinda Carbajal, Manuel Carbajal, Saul Carbajal, Joe Carbajal and John David Carbajal.
He is survived by: his children, Corina Carbajal, Casey Carbajal, Veronica Salazar (Carl) and Christopher Ruiz; and his siblings, Guillermo Carbajal, Jr., Herminia Noriega (Gabriel), Blanca Ramirez (Oscar), Mary Olivarez (Tony) and Rita Garza. He is also survived by eight grandchildren.
