It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jessie McKone of Tulia, Texas, who passed away on June 26, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Temple Hayhurst and Clara Hayhurst; her siblings, T. A., Billy Ed, Roy, Lloyd Donald, Boyd Ronald Hayhurst, Dona Mae Hayhurst and Bettye Sue Guthrie; and her son Robert Keith McKone.
She is survived by: her brother Wesley Dee; her husband Charles E. McKone of Tulia; her daughters, Gayla Pool (David) of Plainview and Becky Byrd (Rick) of Amarillo; her brother Wesley Hayhurst (Joann) of Tulia; her grandchildren, Amy Bryant (Johnathan), Jarod Pool (Crystal), Reagan Byrd (Sarah) and Ryan Byrd; her great grandchildren, Mallory Watson, Courtney Watson, Taylee Watson, Davyn Bryant, Luna Pool and Liam Pool; and her great great grandchildren, Adelynn and Aspyn of Washington. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
