John Ellis Culwell Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2024, at the age of 102, John Ellis Culwell (Tulia, Texas) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Ellis Sr. and Maggye Culwell; his wife Lucy Culwell; his siblings, Dallas, Dayle, Mila Ramsey and Evelyn Davis (Bob); and his great grandchild Grayson Swinburn.
He is survived by: his daughters, Vicki (Kenneth Littlefield), Cheryl (Dale Swinburn) and Shan Durham of Amarillo; and his grandchildren, Wade, Linda Littlefield of Vigo Park, Kenee, Billy Borchardt of Canyon, Carrol, Julie Littlefield of Amarillo, Chad Swinburn of Tulia, Scot Swinburn of Lubbock, Dane and Anna Swinburn of Lubbock. He is also survived by his daughters, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
He served on the Swisher Co-op Board of Directors, Senior Citizens, Farmers Union, and Swisher Memorial Museum Board & RSVP.
