He was predeceased by : his parents, Otis Carruth and Lucille Ray Carruth; and his sister Verona Collier. He is survived by : his wife Dolores Hutto Carruth; and his sons, Roger and Graham Carruth.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Mildred Hulsey Scholarship at the West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Texas.
