He was predeceased by : his parents, Elbert House and Zillie House (Hart); his son Stephen Dwight House; and his siblings, Etta, Glen, Elven, Dean and Deryl House.

He is survived by : his son Dony House (Michelle Stark House); his granddaughters, Chelsea Dillon and Haley Kimbel (Matt); his great grandchildren, Danielle Dillon, Laikyn Kimbel, Jace Dillon, Brooks Kimbel and Bo Kimbel (Linda Gales); and his sister-in-law Judy Leatherman.
