He is survived by : his wife JoAnn Ewing of Tulia; his daughters, Sharon Boland (Bruce) of Amarillo, Karen Kaiser (Ron) of Amarillo and Patricia Cunningham (Bruce) of Lubbock; his grandchildren, Belinda Fuller (Doyle) of Broken Arrow, Emily Choate (Brandon) of Panhandle, Lt. Colonel Matthew Hudson (Mindy) of Stafford, Katina Leigh (Daniel) of Amarillo, Timothy Cunningham (Sara) of Aubrey and Theresa Brandes (Jeramy) of Coppell; his aunt Lela Nivens of Tulia; his sisters, Christine Gunnels of Tulia, Melba White of Tulia and Vickie Bowers of Hampton; and his siblings-in-law, Gloria Ewing, Carolyn Ewing, Mina Ewing and Don White. He is also survived by seventeen great grandchildren.
