He was predeceased by : his parents, Gladys Shelton and Alton B. Shelton; and his daughter Marla Jo Shelton. He is survived by : his wife Jo Ella; his daughter Marian Graham (Mark) of Tuscola; and his granddaughters, M'Lee Graham of Tuscola, McCall Graham of Tuscola and Malone Graham of Tuscola.
