With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Vernon Lee Allen of Tuscola, Texas, who passed away on September 19, 2021. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Lester Lee Allen and Elsie Zadie Blankenship Allen; his wife Patricia Lang (Pat); his sister Valda DeShazo; his children, Kelly Bain (Jon) of Palestine, TX, Ron Allen (Gwen) of Tuscola, TX and Greg Allen of Portor, TX.; and his grandchildren, Amber Bain, Cameron Bain (Katy), Kristin Bain, Paige Bain, Ashley Huston (Lance), Haylee Rogers (Byron) and Blake Allen. He was also cherished by 11 great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Beltway Church Food Pantry at 4009 Beltway South, Abilene, TX 79606, or to West Texas Rehab Center at 4601 Hartford St., Abilene, TX 79605.
