It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Orlo Dykes of Tyler, Texas, who passed away on July 2, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Frances Foundation (Baptist Child). He is survived by: his wife Cindy; his daughters, Jennifer Holman and Laura Grace Dykes; his sons-in-law, Jason Holman and Joseph Provencher; his grandchildren, Lizzie Holman, Caroline Holman, Ada Liner, Grant Holman and Samuel Provencher; and his siblings, Judy Kapa and Daniel Dykes.
In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to the Green Acres Foundation, 1607 Troup Hwy., Tyler, TX 75701 (gabc.org).
