It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Forrest Sanders Jr. of Tyler, Texas, born in Friona, Texas, who passed away on April 13, 2023, at the age of 93, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Leslie Maryan Sanders; his former wife Anne Ginn Sanders; and his granddaughter Megan Jones. He is survived by: his daughter Kathy Jones; his grandchildren, Brandi Johnson Ty Jones, Sean Sanders, Heather Taylor and Devin Sanders; and his great grandchildren, Morgan Sanders, Aram Sanders, Nyxon Sanders, Luke Sanders, Beau Jones, Logan Jones, Mack Johnson and Miles Johnson.
