It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Elvin Worley of Tyler, Texas, born in Houston, Texas, who passed away on April 3, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Willard James Worley and Ruby Pearl Langston. He is survived by : his wife Annie Ruth Worley; his sons, James Randall Worley, Leslie Paul Worley and Troy Lynn Worley; his granddaughter Amber Nicole Cody; and his sister Martha Jane Dahlberg of Dallas.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Tyler Primitive Baptist Church (6502 Old Jacksonville Hwy, Tyler, TX 75703). A funeral service was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, April 8th 2024 at 2:30 PM at the Fields Chapel Cemetery.
