She is survived by: her daughter Hollis Gustavsen Knode; her son-in-law Eric; her granddaughters, Cate and Claire Knode; her son Jesse; her daughter-in-law Danielle Graham; and her sisters, Donna Newman Johnson, Nancy Jones Hocker and Jan Newman Carter. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, December 6th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Northway Baptist Church (1421 Buchta Rd, Angleton, TX 77515).
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Angleton Alumni Association in her name.
