He was predeceased by: his parents, E. B. Pritchard and Alice Pritchard; and his daughter Terrie Hale. He is survived by: his sister Judy Brown of Tyler. He is also survived by his six children, as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Sunday, June 1st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the New Life Baptist Church (3575 Old Longview Rd, Tyler, TX 75708). It was only with the advent of the pandemic in 2020 that Jerry made the decision to retire at the age of 80.
