He was predeceased by : his parents, Bernice Carter and Johnny Carter, Sr.. He is survived by : his wife Mary Sue Carter; his children, Butch Carter and Becky Bryd; his son-in-law Kevin Bryd; his grandchildren, Cole Crymes, Chris Crymes, Katelyn Carter and Colby Carter; and his great grandchildren, Harley Crymes, Kolt Crymes and Theador Crymes.
