He is survived by: his wife Marcia Green; his children, David Green (Sheri) of Austin, TX. and Gina Dickerson (Tom) of Malawi, Africa.; his grandchildren, Sarah, Zef, Jeremy, Titus, Zachary, Naomi, Justin and Andrea; and his brother Thomas Green of Macomb, IL..
A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Sylvan Baptist Church (13073 TX-110, Tyler, TX 75704).
In lieu of flowers, it was Lonnie's wish that any memorial tributes be made in the form of charitable donations to Mt. Sylvan Baptist Church (Missions or Building Fund) or any personal favorite charity.
