She was predeceased by: her parents, Juan Vargas-Rosario and Maria Irene Acevedo. She is survived by: her husband Nestor Hernandez-Rodriguez; her children, Nestor and Evy Carrasquillo; and her grandchildren, Ari, Gaby, Jonathan Jr., Jere, Aliza and Emet.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the El Shekina Church (208 TX-31, Kilgore, TX 75662). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 24th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A prayer will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, October 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Danville Cemetery (200 Memorial St, Kilgore, TX 75662).
