He is survived by: his wife Cindy Smith; his children, Julie Franklin, Melissa Braswell (Jason) and Philip Smith (Tara); his grandchildren, Camille Franklin, Rett Franklin, Charlotte Franklin, Raegan Smith, Cameron Smith, Camden Braswell and Piper Braswell; and his siblings, Karen Kerr (Brooks) and Jerry Smith. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
