He was predeceased by: his parents, Jose Luz Hernandez Romero and Vicenta Romero Guzman; his daughters, Jenney P Hernandez and Octavia Hernandez; and his siblings, Ester, Ramon and Concepcion.
He is survived by: his wife Maria Sofia Otero of Hernandez; his daughters, Elodia Tapia (Elias Tapia), Flora Martinez (Hector Martinez), Raquel McKinnon (Michael McKinnon) and Patricia Hernandez; his siblings, Antonio, Carmen, Gloria, Alfonso, Guadalupe Hernandez and Julio Hernandez; his grandchildren, Sarah Tapia, Elias Tapia, Jessica Tapia, Abigail Martinez, Leslie Martinez, Matthew McKinnon and Sophia McKinnon; and his great grandchild Kaylee Baldera.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Rader Funeral Home (401 N Martin St, Kilgore, TX 75662). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, May 31st 2025 at 3:30 PM at the Overton City Cemetery.
