With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William Raymond Smale (Tyler, Texas), born in Chicago, Illinois, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. William Raymond left this world on April 22, 2024 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry Caleb Smale, Jr. and Edith Jane Harris Smale; his wife Bette Jo Lewis Smale; his brother Harry C. Smale III (Annamae); and his children, William R. Smale Jr., Gregg W. Smale, Ronald L. Smale and Laura J. Smale.

He is survived by : his friend Bill; and his daughter Kimberly S. Arriola (Robert). He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, as well as many extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Pollard United Methodist Church (3030 Copeland Rd, Tyler, TX 75701). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, May 18th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
