She was predeceased by: her parents, Lily Mae Ellis and Walter Leblanc; her husband Bob Kern; and her children, Angelia Hock and Tony Hock.
She is survived by: her children, Steve Hock of New Braunfels, TX and Tammy Moreno of Logo Vista, TX. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Schertz Funeral Home (2217 FM3009, Schertz, TX 78154, USA). A rosary will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church (16075 N Evans Rd, Selma, TX 78154). A procession will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Schertz Funeral Home & Crematory (2217 FM3009, Schertz, TX 78154, USA). A committal service will be held on Tuesday, October 14th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209).
