The passing of Gail Zoe Berish (Universal City, Texas), born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan leaves a void in the hearts of many, as we bid farewell to a loving soul who departed on May 8, 2024 at the age of 87. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Robert Wheeler and Lovina "Dixie" Wheeler; her husband Anthony Berish; and her brother Grant Wheeler. She is survived by : her children, Michael Berish (Sandy), Robert Berish (Trixie Nicole), Nancianne Christoffersen (Ronald) and Kathleen Funk (Joseph); her grandchildren, Amber (James), Shyra, Eric (Sarah) and Adrian; her great grandchildren, Isaiah, Kai and Janie; and her sister Francis Itterman.

A memorial service was held on Wednesday, May 15th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Colonial Funeral Home (625 Kitty Hawk Rd, Universal City, TX 78148). A burial was held on Friday, May 31st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery (1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd, San Antonio, TX 78209). A committal service was held on Friday, May 31st 2024 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
