He was predeceased by : his parents, Jose Leal Saldaña and Adelaida Alcocer; his son David Saldaña; his son-in-law Gordon Alan Woods of San Antonio; his siblings, Adan Alcocer Saldaña and Eva Saldaña Garza; and his brother-in-law Jose Vasquez.
He is survived by : his wife Teresa Saldaña; his children, Yolanda Woods (Saldaña) of San Antonio and Noe Saldaña Jr. (Lydia) of San Antonio; his grandchildren, Vanessa Saldaña of Colorado Springs and Noe Justin Saldaña (McKenzie) of Fort Wainwright, Alaska.; his sister Ida Castillo Lopez (Andres) of Eagle Pass, Texas; his brother-in-law Johnny Vasquez (Linda) of Corpus Christi, Texas; his daughter-in-law Melissa Saldaña of Lewisville, Texas.; his friends, Adolfo, Imelda Ramirez and Harrison Lonidier (Butch) of Castroville; and also, Marissa "Missy" Ramirez and Al Ramirez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 18th 2021 at 12:00 PM at the Rushing-Estes-Knowles Mortuary (220 S Getty St, Uvalde, TX 78801). A rosary was held on Monday, January 18th 2021 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A funeral mass was held on Tuesday, January 19th 2021 at 10:00 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (408 Fort Clark Rd, Uvalde, TX 78801). A celebration of Noe's life will be announced once COVID-19 restrictions have passed.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to the American Legion Post 479 or the Unit 479 Auxiliary, 583 W. Main, Uvalde, Tx 78801.
