He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Helen Howerton Slover. He is survived by: his children, Rhonda Marshall (Roy Vega), David Slover and Paul Slover; his grandchildren, Gretchen Childress, Troy Slover, Joe Slover, Chelsea Sheffield, Jerry Slover and Blake Slover; Euphemia Slover, Julie Slover, Don Fielding, Larry Fielding and Helen Ann Trombley.

Memorial donations can be made to Scottish Rite Hospital of Dallas, TX or the MS Society of Dallas, in his name. "Moo-chus, Graa-chus!".
