It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Vera Lee Skipworth (Van Alstyne, Texas), born in Gunter, Texas, who passed away on October 10, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her husband Harold Wayne Skipworth; her children, Tommy Skipworth and Linda Kay Skipworth; and her grandson Cameron Skipworth. She is survived by : her children, Weldon Skipworth (Brenda Skipworth) of Sherman, Helen Commons (Roland) of Anna, Mike Skipworth (Vicki Means McCarter) of Denison, Bubba Skipworth (Debbie) of Fort Worth and Rick Skipworth of Sherman; her daughter-in-law Gayle Skipworth of Howe; her brother Dave Gressett of Tioga; and also, Josh Skipworth, Chad Skipworth, Terry Jack Skipworth, Ricky Skipworth, Derek Skipworth and Jay Skipworth. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-great-grandchildren.
