It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Rae McKinney (Van Alstyne, Texas), who passed away on March 25, 2020, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John L. Murphy and Oleta Beck Murphy; her children, James Edward McKinney, Jr. and Charlotte Lonise McKinney Thompson; her husband James Edward McKinney, Sr.; and her siblings, Lesidia Murphy Mc Lean, Marquetta Ann Murphy and Morris Daniel Murphy.
She is survived by: her adoptive children, Charles Mayberry and Charlene Cherry of Dallas, Texas.; her grandchildren, Shaquille Mckinney and James Edward McKinney, III; and her great grandchild Vinny. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, Cousins.
