She was predeceased by: her parents, Andrew Floyd Magers and Edith Yarbrough Magers; her former husband Ruben Holmes; her children, Arvil Holmes and Valta Lee Holmes; and her siblings, Willie Mae White, Henry Magers and Leroy Magers.

She is survived by: her sons, Glynn Holmes (Dorothy) of Van and Tony Carcamo of Dallas; her granddaughters, Tammy Chitty, Elaine Holmes and Aubrey Catterton; and her great grandchildren, Stoney Williams, Bailey Nix and Taylor Chitty.
