It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Glen Wilbur Wagner of Vega, Texas, who passed away on July 23, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilbur Wagner and Dorothy Wagner (Ladehoff); his wife Marilyn J. Allen; his son Douglas Alan Wagner; his brother Gary R. Wagner (Elwanda); and his sister-in-law Lyndal Wagner.
He is survived by: his sons, Glen William Wagner and David Lee Wagner (Linda); his brothers, Lee A. Wagner (Tomi) and Lyndon E. Wagner; his daughter-in-law Kelly Wagner; his grandchildren, J. W. Wagner (Becky), Janie Wagner, Jaci Roberson (Ronnie), Joni Wagner, Craig Wagner (Amy), Daniel Wagner, Melissa Crossland (Brady), Garrett Wagner (Miranda), Forest Wagner and Haley Wagner; his great grandchildren, Shayli Wagner, Cole Wagner, Easton Wagner, Savanna Wagner, Kalley Crossland, Kinley Crossland, Levi Wagner and Luke Wagner; and his cousins, Orville Ladehoff, Harolena (George Powell) and Debra Wagner. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM, on Sunday, July 27th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, July 28th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Vega Methodist Church (208 N 9th St, Vega, TX 79092). A burial was held on Tuesday, July 29th 2025 at the Palo Duro Cemetery (5701 FM809, Wildorado, TX 79098).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to Vega Methodist Church.
