He is survived by: his children, John Charles Sparks and Susan Lorraine Sparks; his grandchildren, Melissa Morrell, John Charles Sparks, Jr., Christina Sparks Pecina and Jeremy Thomas Sparks; his great grandchildren, Kynnady, Mackynzie, Faith, Trinity, Gracin, Logan, Christian, Kaylani, Zoe, Charlie and Lucinda; his wife Gerry; and his sister Dorothy E. Morris.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grace Lutheran Church (210 W Park Row Dr, Arlington, TX 76010).
