She was loved and cherished by many people including : her caregiver Aide; her husband Nicolas Garcia; her daughters, Sylvia Guillory (Scott) of College Station, Celia Navarro (Concepcion) of Port Lavaca and Isabel Garcia De Leon (Daniel) of Goliad; and her sister Maria A. Garcia of Port Lavaca. She was also cherished by eleven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 at 8:15 AM. A rosary was held on Monday, April 15th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the Angel Lucy's Funeral Home (706 E Crestwood Dr, Victoria, TX 77901). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 16th 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church (208 W River St, Victoria, TX 77901).
