She was predeceased by: her parents, Arch Phillips and Maudie Phillips; her husband DeWayne Nix; and her grandson Levi Smith. She is survived by: her sister Virginia Malik; and her children, Rhonda Kay Nix (Johnny), Jimmy Nix (Pam), Donna Barr (Bill) and Leslye Smith (Bubba). She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace Memorial Chapel at Memory Gardens (8819 US-87, Victoria, TX 77903). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
