He is survived by: his children, Linda Gomez, Olivia Quintana, Elvira Lira, Vanessa Peña, Kimberly Garcia, Francisca Garcia, Esmeralda Dixson, Carmen Jae Garcia, Jesse Lira Jr. and Ismael Garcia; and his brother Guadalupe Lira. He is also survived by his 8 great-grandchildren, 21 grandchildren.
