He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Bennett and Dorothy Katherine Bennett Brown; his former wife Cynthia Ellen Bennett; and his stepdaughter Colett Sance Edmonds. He is survived by: his wife Minerva Flores Bennett (Minnie); his daughters, Cuevas (Benito) and Ida Caballero (Lee); his siblings, Terry Brown and Shirley Bennett; and his grandchildren, Michael, David Cuevas, Holly Elise Edmonds and Alicia Renee Caballero.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, August 13th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 9:00 AM. A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, August 14th 2025 at 10:00 AM at 1311 E Mesquite Ln, Victoria, TX 77901.
