He was loved and cherished by many people including : his parents, Arlene Garza Martinez and Raymond Chavez Sr.; his brother John A. Chavez; his grandparents, John Garza Jr., Antonio Chavez, Josefina Chavez and Pauline G Gutierrez; his children, Arlene Nicole Chavez, Celisse Uriah Chavez, Raymond Chavez Ill and Joseph Matthew Chavez; his stepbrother Eric Giovanni Chavez (Michelle Bray); and his grandchildren, Alonzo, Natalie, Xavier, Joseph Anthony, Carlos, Gianna, Samuel and Genesis. He was also cherished by numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
