She is survived by: her children, Rachel Hendrix of South Houston, Lisa Mercado of South Houston, Sylvia Marshall of South Houston, Patricia Monroe of South Houston, Edward Joseph Monroe of Port Lavaca and Alexander David Monroe of Victoria. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
