He is survived by: his mother Teresa Garza of Jesus Gracia; his wife Margarita Chavez Garza; his children, Laura Gonzalez (John), Reyes Garza III (Shonna) of Victoria and Cirildo; his stepchildren, Lori Sanchez Ladd Cleburne (Shawn) and Phillip Sanchez Jr. Laredo; his siblings, Teodora "Loli" Narvaez, Delia "Peewee" Gonzales of Corpus Christi, Sylvia Garza of Puerto Rico, Roland Garza of San Antonio and Rene Garza; his stepdaughter Teresa Sanchez Lindell; and his siblings, Yolanda Jump, Robert, Richard and Rudy Garza. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
