He was predeceased by: his father Roy G. McLaurin; and his son Matthew McLaurin. He is survived by: his wife Cheryl McLaurin; his sons, Adam McLaurin (Abby), Jared McLaurin (Nikki) and Roy Samuel McLaurin (Abby); his daughter-in-law Marie McLaurin; his children, Stephen Stone (Kathryn) and Ann Brogger (David); his sisters, Nancy Schmidt (Glenn), Audrey Bell (Noward) and Peggie McLaurin; and his grandchildren, Ryan McLaurin, Shannon McLaurin, Micah Rozen, Auggie Rozen, Kendall McLaurin, Ellie McLaurin, Leo McLaurin, Arlo McLaurin, Eve Brogger and Lila Brogger. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, St. Jude Children's Hospital, Crown Hospice or Charity of the donor's choice.
