She was predeceased by: her husband Robert Leon Stockwell; her son Micheal Ray Simmons Jr.; her sister Betty Jo Ames; and her parents, W. L. "Bill" Smith and Amanda Smith.
She is survived by: her children, Kelly Simmons (Debbie) of Beaumont, TX and Valerie Kennedy of Vidor, TX; her grandchildren, Brady Simmons (Lindsay O'Hare) of Lafayette, TN, Brandon Simmons of Port Arthur, TX, Johnathan Simmons (Samantha) of Urbandale, IA, Vanessa Croteau (Patrick) of Santee, CA, Haley Festa (Nick) of Port Arthur, TX and Mary Jane Kennedy of Vidor, TX; and her brothers, Ronnie Smith (Brenda) of Vidor, TX and Jimmy Smith (Joy) of Vidor, TX.. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor (1750 TX-12, Vidor, TX 77662). A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the same location.
