It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Sue Godeaux of Vidor, Texas, who passed away on June 14, 2025, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Oscar Godeaux; her children, Jeanette, Theresa Godeaux and Junior Martin; her parents, Lovie Wimberly and Sneed Wimberly; her siblings, Shirley Aucoin, Bobbie Pike and Tom Wimberly; and her grandson William Smith.
She is survived by: her daughter Jackie Andrus (Buddy Andrus) of Vidor, TX; her pet Josie Godeaux; her sisters, Mary Ann Wheat and Theresa Lawson; her son-in-law Ronnie Reed; her stepson Roger Heiss; her grandchildren, Ashley Adams (Eric), Chelce Harris (Chad), Darby Reed-Pilant (Caleb), Cody Loggins, McKenzie Koch (Ryan) and Khloe Andrus; and her great grandchildren, Bladen Loggins, Zane Smith, Kinsley Loggins, Kaiden Collum, Kutter Koch, Kash Koch, Kace Koch and Kairi Adams. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and the countless friends of her children and grandchildren.
