She was predeceased by : her parents, John Simmons and Ruby Simmons; her son John Adam Cleveland; and her brothers, Gerald and Allen Gentry.

She is survived by : her children, Richard Cleveland Sr. of Vidor, TX, Melinda Champagne (Ryan) of Vidor, TX and Diane Akridge (Ricky Halbert) of Vidor, TX.; and her sister Betty Morris of Nederland, TX. She is also survived by 17 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Williamson Cemetery (6400 N Main St, Vidor, TX 77662).
