He was predeceased by : his mother Yvonne Bland; and his sister Diane Bland. He is survived by : his father Ed Bland of Vidor; and his siblings, Marilyn Blankenship (Thomas M.) of Kountze, Texas, Debra Bland of Vidor, Texas, Terry Bland (Rachel) of Orangefield, Texas and Melissa Bland Cahill (Tom) of Washougal. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Memorial Funeral Home of Vidor (1750 TX-12, Vidor, TX 77662). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 11th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
