She was predeceased by : her parents, Alton Everitt Deskin and Louise Calkins Deskin; her husband Donald Wayne Friend; and her brother R. L. Deskin, Sr.. She is survived by : her children, Carrie Abshire, Rebecca Abshire, Holly Friend DeRouin and Ronald Friend (Michelle); and her grandchildren, Colby Wilson, Casey Wilson, Christina Peveto, Nolan Friend, Kierstyn Friend, Tony Ramos, Delmi Roy, Joshua DeRouin, Eric Pastrana and Sergio Romero. She is also survived by 20 great-grandchildren, and numerous other loving family members and friends.
