With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Woodrow Joseph Guidry Sr. of Vidor, Texas, who passed away on October 15, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Guidry and Yvonne Guidry (Himel); and his son-in-law Bryan Moss. He is survived by: his wife Louise Gonzales Guidry; his children, Blanca Hale (Chris), Toni Moss, Woodrow Joseph Guidry Jr. (Lanisa) and Ginny Price; his grandchildren, Alex Hale, Lauren Hale, Sydney Hale, Sophia Patterson (Jake), Jacob Moss, Nicholas Moss, Noah Moss, Caleb Guidry and Brayden Price; his great grandchild Liam Patterson; and his siblings, Barbara Blanchette (Fred), Michael Guidry (Rosemary), Cynthia McKee (Mike Sr.), Deborah Dinet (Todd), Theresa Rhodes (Tim), Mary Dinet (Randy) and Patricia Daleo (Paul). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and lifelong friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home (4955 Pine St, Beaumont, TX 77703). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, October 21st 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location. A committal service will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Inc. (4955 Pine St, Beaumont, TX 77703). A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 22nd 2025 at the Follow Forest Lawn Memorial Park (4950 Pine St, Beaumont, TX 77703).
