She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Carpenter and Effie Carpenter (Thomas); her daughter Linda Sue Garrett; and her siblings, Curtis Carpenter, Leonard Carpenter, Sr., Bob Carpenter, L. Z. Carpenter, Thomas Carpenter, J. W. Carpenter, Sonny Carpenter, Lillian Rogers, Faye VanCleave and Ella Rose Carpenter.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Lanford (Janice) of St. Joe, Larry Lanford (Josie) of Waco, Betty Faglie (Bobby Joe) of Waco and Bailor. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; twenty-nine great-grandchildren; twelve great-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society.
