She is survived by: her daughter Ethelyn Washington (William); her granddaughter Kimbra Peterson (Tarsha); her great grandchild Siobhan Washington; her stepchildren, Sheree Jones-Levi (Robert) and Victor Jones (Gwen); her siblings, Minister Gwendolyn Thornton, Verthona Jackson, Glodine Allen, Christopher Moore (Sharon), Bennie Neal (Selma) and Johnny Neal; her siblings' children, Byron Smith, Shawn Smith, Bryan Smith, Sharon Sterling, Diane Jones (Elijah), Andrea Sweet (Roger), Margaret Johnson (Carl), Deneen Bradshaw, Amy Gilyard (Ricky), Betty Black and Brittany Smith; her cousins, Gertie Houston, Marilyn Clayton (Herbert), Earline Nichols, Gerline Hunter (Lonnie), Darlene Nichols, Johnnie Ruth Cooksey (Allen), Eleanor McCoy, Albert Nichols (Billie) and Ollie Nichols (Geneva); and her close friends, Vada Hargrove, Beverlyn Walker and Stella Kenner.
