He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Flores Sr. and Sara Quinones Flores; his wife Rita; and his siblings, Edward, Frank, Jay, Joe, Loisa, Marshall of Domingo, R. H and Rosie.
He is survived by: his children, Emmitt Jr. (Rose), Steve (Vicki), Rickey (Ellen), Dora Lauritzen (Karl) and Machelle Ancira (Carlos); his grandchildren, Tammy, Stevie, Rickey Jr., Jeno, Emilio, Carlos Jr., Michael (Julia) and Erich; his great grandchildren, Donye, Prince, Tiger, Star of Jordan, J. T, Juliette and Nicholas; and his great great grandchild Lily. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and close friends.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Lake Shore Funeral Home & Crematory (5201 Steinbeck Bend Dr, Waco, TX 76708). A rosary will be held on Tuesday, June 17th 2025 from 7:00 PM to 7:45 PM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Francis Catholic Church (315 Jefferson Ave, Waco, TX 76701). A burial will be held on Wednesday, June 18th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Oakwood Cemetery (2124 S 5th St, Waco, TX 76706).
