He was predeceased by: his significant other Lou of Mosca, CO; his parents, George Paul and Maidelee Brinegar; and his grandparents, George Pinkney, Mamie and Wacoans.

He is survived by: his children, George Allen and Terri Leigh; and his grandchildren, Jeremy Searles (Amelia) of Austin, Tifani McGovern (Brian), NJ, Jared Searles of Waco, Ashley Brinegar of Denver and Jackie Norris (Michael).
