She is survived by: her former husband Michael McCurtis; her husband Alfred Harris; her close friend Alfred Harris; her children, DeJoris McCurtis, Michael McCurtis Jr. (Yvette), Aljam Harris (Shannon), Creighton, Philnelius Harris, Joseph Turpin–McCurtis (Ruth), D. C of Washington, KeYona Turpin–McCurtis and Bria Williams; her siblings, Ethel Steele (James) of Birmingham, AL, Carolyn McGuire (Charles) of Birmingham, AL, Norma Jean Lee of Birmingham, AL, Carmen McCall of Birmingham, AL, Otis McGuire, Jr. (Pam) and Christopher McGuire (Brenda) of Birmingham, AL; and her grandchildren, Jerrell, Jared McCurtis, Tai, Toryano McCurtis, Aljam Jr., Courtney and Jaycob Harris. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
