He was predeceased by: his father Charles. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Umlauf; his sons, Stuart Allen Umlauf and Kurt Aaron Umlauf (Andrea Umlauf); his grandchildren, Kurt, Arin and Allison Umlauf; and his siblings, Arthur Umlauf (Mary Grace) and Madelon Umlauf.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests giving to the Karl and Shirley Umlauf Endowment Scholarship Fund through Baylor University.
